April is Autism Awareness & Acceptance Month. Throughout the month, Spectrum Academy students, staff and families will be GROWing on an Adventure and you're invited to join us on the journey! This year we're launching a new campaign that will give participants opportunities for growth while raising money for every Spectrum Academy campus.

It's time to GROW on an Adventure!
At Spectrum Academy we believe we can do anything we set our minds to. We take on challenges and learn from them. We put forth effort to grow our abilities. We choose to be kind and serve others. Through social skills classes, emotional regulation practice, and encouraging a growth mindset we give our students the skills they need to reach their goals and make a difference for good in their homes and communities.

Throughout the month of April, each student/participant will work to improve on a skill or gain a new skill of their choice. Family and friends show their support by making donations to the school in the student's name. Students and participants will earn prizes for their efforts!

HOW IT WORKS:

1- Create a Fundraising Page and make a goal to complete one or more activities that will challenge you physically, mentally and/or emotionally as you; learn something new, practice a skill, serve someone or step outside your comfort zone. It’s up to you how you GROW on your Adventure!

2- Ask your friends and family to show their support by donating to the school in your honor. Donations can be made on your online fundraising page or through Venmo @SpectrumAcademy. Make sure donors include your name when making their donations. With every donation you get closer to earning great prizes!

Raise $150 to receive a Cooler Backpack and T-shirt
Raise $300 to receive a Wireless Charging Power Bank, Cooler and T-shirt

3- Submit your completed activities HERE and be entered into drawings to win prizes throughout the month!

We are asking everyone who supports our mission to rally their friends, family, and networks to support our work. By becoming a fundraiser for Spectrum Academy, you'll encourage our students and participants to grow while giving your friends and family the opportunity to feel good about doing good.

Starting a fundraiser is easy to do, and it's fun. We'll even give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. With your help, I know we can reach our campaign goal of $10,000 by April 30th!
